I'm the senior engineer for the NASA Infrared Telescope Facility (IRTF) on the Big Island of Hawai'i. My work there mostly involves the design and build of infrared instrumentation, where I serve as project manager, systems engineer, lead engineer, software engineer, and detector engineer.
I realize that's a lot of hats, but we're a small outfit, and our motto is "do more with less!"
